What is the best hair remover method for non-permanent shaping and removing of pubic hair without getting razor rash?
Unfortunately, as many know, this is not as easy as it seems. Well let's put it in perspective! Image saying to yourself one morning "I am going to save myself some money and cut my own hair." So you take out the sheers and start to cut your hair!!! Hell no, you wouldn't do that, I know you wouldn't.
We all have tried to just give ourself a little trim and we know how that turned out. The first person you see that you know says "What happened to your hair?" Ok, so we can all relate to what a very hard task it would be to cut or trim our own hair.
Well when it comes to trimming, cutting and shaping of your pubic hair it can be even more complicated. You ask Why? Well for one, the hair in our pubic area is not as thick as those on the head. It is very easy to make mistakes. One wrong clip and you are truly screwed. No, not literally. But a bald spot looks as bad as an unkept area.
Pubic hair does not grow in a specific direction, you can have hair growing in four different directions in an area as small as a square inch. Talk about a pain in the butt to figure out which way to cut. The last and possibly the hardest thing to overcome is the skin's sensitivity in this area. The last thing you want is a whole lot of red bumps and rash. Not the most inviting looking.
There is no right or wrong way to trim your pubic hair as long as the outcome is visually pleasing and very manageable. Pubic hair is not very thick on most people. The wrong move with a trimmer/razor can make you have to shave it all off and start over again when it grows back. This can take a month or two before you get the second chance. Therefore, I recommend to proceed with caution and do it as close to right the first time.
First of all I recommend you DO NOT USE A RAZOR!!! I have seen too many that end up with a horrible rash that makes the area anything but visually pleasing. A razor cuts the hair at an angle, some hairs at a very sharp angle. This is why the area looks great right after the shave, but the next day it is a nightmare. When the hair starts to grow it pricks the skin as it emerges and causes irritation.
Then you get the red bumps and rash. By the time the rash heals the hair has grown enough that it needs to be shaven again. This becomes a horrible circle. Sure there are products such as powders and cremes that supposedly get rid of the rash, but there you have another expense even if they work.
Another problem with a razor is the fact you want to use a very sharp one. But, in the very delicate bikini area you have very sensitive labia in females and penis and testicles in males...HELL NO!!! Way too much to go wrong there.
Ok, so what do we use??? Something that is gentle enough for the pubic regions, yet strong enough to get the job done? Well the answer is right here:
(BG2030 Trimmer by Philips) ***NO OTHER MODEL***
This trimmer is amazing in every way!! You will NEVER want to use another razor again in that delicate area. No matter how sensitive your skin is, you will not break out! I can't say enough good things about this product! Buy it and buy it NOW!
I use it on my entire bikini area, my testicles included. My skin is as soft is it can be and not ONE SINGLE BLEMISH...EVER!!!!
I have included pictures of my trimmed pubic area, minus genitalia of course, to show that I have NO bumps at all. The images are of my own pubic area. They are of my left, center and right sides. (If you click on any one of the individual pictures, it will enlarge in an individual window so you can see detail.)
Please note that these photo's were taken 48 hours after using the trimmer. The hair is starting to bud through the surface of the skin, but there is not a single bump or blemish!!
