Electric Wax Warmer

For Professional Waxing Results

Use the electric wax warmer to melt hair removal waxes. Read about the different depilation, epilation and photo epilation methods available to remove unwanted hair.

Single electric wax warmer It can also be called wax melter, wax heater, hot wax machine or wax pot.

When you don't have something that regulates the temperature of wax, you stand the chance to overheat it if you are in a hurry.

The next problem is to keep the wax at the desired temperature while you are using it.

Luckily there are things like an electric wax warmer that can do both the above easily.

Hair removal waxes are melted to, and then automatically kept melted, at the desired temperature. You can choose the comfortable working temperature you prefer by turning the dial.

How does it work?

The modern electric devices have enclosed heating elements to prevent accidental burns. A pilot light indicates when it is on or off.

They have one or two heating wells. The wax can be decanted into the well or metal tins can be placed inside the wells. The wax are bought in the matal tins.

The temperature is chosen by turning the control switch/es. It should also have separate on/off switch for each well.

The device automatically switches on when the wax has cooled to a certain temperature. And then it switches off again before it gets too hot.

Exactly like a geyser. Surely you understand how a geyser works.

Who uses electric wax heaters?

This page is all about the heating of wax at professional waxing salons.

But that doesn't mean the public may not use it. Anyone who do waxing hair removal will understand the numerous advantages of buying one.

Pubic hair removal by means of waxing with hair removal waxes is by far the most commonly performed treatment requested in beauty salons.

Depileve single electric wax warmer That is why this machine can be found in most salons all over the world. Both cold and hot waxes are used for removal of unwanted body hair, but they are used on different body sites.

Hot wax is preferable over cold wax at the underarm and pubic areas, because of of its very deep follicle depth.

Different male pubic hair waxing styles are being experimented with. Specifically the full male brazilian waxing, is becoming very popular with men all over the world.

Because the skin is very sensitive at these intimate places, the hot wax must be used at the correct temperature for male brazilian waxing. The heat of the wax opens the pores and, as it cools down the hair stays entrapped inside the setting wax.

Cold waxing can be heated in the same way, but most salons prefer to use the portable roller waxing cartridges for its application speed.

This wax melts at a lower temperature and is also applied at a lower temperature than hot wax. Cold wax is applied at about 12 degrees Celsius cooler than hot wax.

Regulating wax temperature

Electric wax warmer control switches and lights The melting point of hot wax is roughly 50 degrees Celsius. The comfortable working temperature is about five degrees Celsius higher.

Unless the temperature is controlled, hot wax will get hotter, until it smokes. This should be avoided at all times, because it changes the consistency of the wax.

Wax can even spontaneously burst into flames when it becomes too hot!

This is easily avoided by using a thermostatically controlled electric wax warmer.

The newer versions have digital controls. The double waxing unit should have two separate heat controls and two indicator lights.

An electric wax warmer uses so little electricity, it can even be kept on a low setting for the whole day to ensure the wax stay melted for the next client.

It is a given fact that the preferred electric wax warmer will differ from one salon to the next.

Heating big volumes

Electric frying pan used as electric wax warmer Really busy, busy salons prefer to use an ordinary electric frying pan or slow cooker.

Once melted, the huge amount of wax is automatically kept at the right temperature.

The hair removal wax warmer is available as a single or double wax warmer unit.

Always buy a waxing machine where you can control the temperature of the wax.

If a beauty salon uses both cold and hot wax daily they will normally prefer to use the double warmer unit. Each heating well will warm the wax individually according to the preferred temperature.

The waxing professional then has a choice between two tins of the same type of wax. Or two different waxes, each used at a different temperature.

Any type of sugaring hair removal can also be decanted into metal tins for use in a warmer.

Waxing at home

Use a baby bottle warmer as electric wax warmer Nearly all of the above information are aimed at professional waxing salons.

But it is a total different story when we talk about waxing at home. Then you want something cheap and small is just perfect.

Why don't you use a baby bottle warmer! Just find something suitable that fits inside to put the wax in. Maybe an empty coffee tin or Coke tin with the top cut off. Whatever fits inside will do nicely.

I have been using a little Lady Braun Epilette electric wax warmer for ages. And I bought it second hand from a newspaper ad.

The aim of at home waxing is after all to save yourself some money. Well, I give quite a few tips all over the website to help you achieve that goal!
